"Slave Girls" band in Shingle Springs. This event is at the Shingle
Springs Community Center, and is sponsored by the bands themselve, looking for a
more free-form venue. I am expecting an evening of Creative original sounds,
FreeTrade be focussing more on our original stuff and creative improv, in the
spirit of the line-up of bands. I do not expect a conservative, let's follow the
social median, juke-box rock sort of bar party. This ought to be a wee bit more
eclectic than that... ou

an original thrown in for spice. Yes, we expect to let Slimey off the leash for

sequence, then will follow with some other PF favorites.

this one, we plan to play "Home Grown" Folk Rock tunes. Also featured
later in the event will be Sal Valentino (Beau Brummels, Stoneground, solo) Jack
Traylor (Solo, Steelwind, Jefferson Starship), The Method, Sol Bridge &
Anthony Showalter. There will be an art & crafts fair, displays,
demonstration, yoga, face painting & children's activities. Food & fair
trade coffee will be available for sale or bring a picnic. Please no dogs or
alcohol. This non political, family oriented event is presented by the Green
Party of El Dorado County. will play a BENEFIT at High Hill ranch, outdoors, near the fishing pond.

Friday 8 Aug 6-9pm (every Friday over the summer) - This week, I will be performing Friday eve (as usual) at the Forester. And - The Harvest - who knows who might show up to sit in this week? Last week I played solo for a while, then the "Harvest" was in: Kent Miller showed up: We sang 2 part harmony and traded off guitar instrumentals for 90 minutes. Then Dennis Skinner sat in and played a set solo while I took a (much deserved, I like to think) break. We capped that off by Kent and I singing 3 part harmony with Dennis on "Long Black Veil". Too much fun...
